Recently designed logo for Oil + Water: The Future of Green Development in LA, an event organized by architect Chris Corbett. About the event: Framed around the literal and figurative meanings of the city’s most critical resources: oil and water, the event will examine how the historically contentious relationships between public and private development must be bridged to create a sustainable Los Angeles.

The annual publication from the Yale School of Architecture. Designed with Daniel Harding. Our intent for this version of the publication was to create an accessible form that could hold the large amount of student work and dialogue. The book is laid out chronologically by student level. Color is used to clearly mark sections of student years and when a student’s voice is heard in dialogue. The architectural work is balanced with photographs of the school contributed by the students.

This creates a container of sorts. The basic idea behind this is that EXTRARCHITECTURAL is a collaborative of different artists and designers working together at different times places, etc. EXTRARCHITECTURAL itself can be seen as a container that holds different types of people and projects at any given time, adaptable to multiple uses.
